Oh, you totally nailed it!! I’ve been trying to figure out what was so different for weeks and somehow didn’t pin it on the feed and response system. I feel like I’m inundated with stories that have eerily similar vibes (just from the titles, I learned not to click on the damn things anymore). There appears to be an algorithm to being successful here and that whole “compelling title” is like, step one. Which, ok, cool, but also, at a certain point it gets repetitive. So I should scroll more, I guess?

And the responses, YES. That was a mainstay of former medium and it’s totally missing now. Even in posts with tons of claps. I agree, Stephen M. Tomic, that definitely needs an overhaul.
